Partner Estimating Tool
Upload your building and device inventory and get a savings range for each building and for the whole project.
How It Works
- Download the template. List your devices on one of the inventory tabs, with a building name on each row. The Buildings tab is optional: use it to add a building’s type, schedule or electricity rate.
- Upload it here. We check it and point to any row that needs a fix.
- Confirm each building’s schedule and electricity rate.
- Get your estimate. A savings range by building and in total, which you can save as a PDF or send to BERT with Request a Quote.

The template collects your inventory only. It has no savings figures in it, and nothing is calculated until you upload it.

Questions
Which inventory tab should I use?
Use one inventory tab per building. Sampled Rooms is fastest: count the devices in 3–4 typical rooms of each type and enter how many similar rooms there are. Room-Device Tally is a full room-by-room count and gives a tighter range. Equipment List Import takes an equipment list you already have; pick a Mapped Device for each row so it can be counted. On every tab, row 3 is an example and is ignored; start your entries on row 4.
How do I fill in Sampled Rooms?
Enter the typical count for one room of that type in "Count in Sampled Room(s)", and the total number of similar rooms in the building in "# of Similar Rooms (total)". We multiply the two.
What do "Not Recommended" and "Conditional" mean?
Devices BERT does not normally control can still be listed, so your inventory is complete, but they are left out of the savings range. Conditional devices are counted, and BERT reviews them with you before installation.
Where do the schedules come from?
If you leave a building’s schedule blank, it starts from typical hours for its building type (or a commercial office, if no type is given). Change them to match how the building is really used. The savings range depends on how many hours a year devices can be off.
I entered an hours/day override. Is it used?
Overrides are saved with your project for BERT’s review. This estimate uses each building’s schedule.
Do I have to fill in the Buildings tab first?
No. Type a building name on each inventory row and we create the building for you. Use the Buildings tab only if you want to give a building’s type, schedule or electricity rate.
Who can see my project?
Your projects are tied to your partner sign-in, and BERT reviews them when you request a quote.
